Direction Poem by Gert Strydom

Direction

When a pendant female voice tried to give direction,
so different from what the GPS wanted
I took the short cut straight to your heart,
the distance and direction was strange to it,
as it cannot determine where you and I lie
but this wanderer found a beacon in you,
did keep near to the beat of the heart
and found a way to your soul and spirit,
so different from what the GPS wanted.
