Dispreferred Dreams Poem by Danny The Dreamer Boyd

Dispreferred Dreams

I wake at once when I do dream of you;
I think I'm not so keen on make-believe,
Or conscious parts that I can't yet deceive:
That rather suffer than but smile anew,
Alas, if only for some moments few!
It's hard indeed some sweetened lie conceive,
Since always all the roads just lead to grieve;
I guess that my goodbye is overdue!
But hell, the whole of me aches not to wake,
'O wicked mind lose focus for some time;
It's only where we can together be!
Oh, let me taste my bittersweet mistake;
I am a willing victim in my crime,
Or else I'll think of her but purposely! '
