Distant Mistress Poem by Todd Johnson

Distant Mistress

Forbidden it may be, and though the distance great;

my heart lonely calls for thee, held captive by our fate.

Maybe in another life, our souls will cross while free;

til then a dreary path I stumble, sadly dreaming what could be.
