Distorted Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Distorted

Distorted

Distorted! are the books and visions
-when mixed with persons' needs
-imposed on limited in power.

These daggers in the air
-with twists, brightness
-poisons and sharpness
-are surface-recorded
-based on an intention!

The same it, has been, is;
-mostly look at the waves,
-hardly deep, sufficient!

For start I need to
-put aside the word fight:
- "Is Iran Persia? ? ? ! ! ! "

Rouzbeh was a Persian
-later known as Salman.

In him I see myself.
-His father was Dihqan
-from the Sepahan
- (now known as: "Isfahan.")

Sharing the birth place
-we dig, deep to sources.

Born and raised Zoroastrian
-he wanted what I want:
- "Be lost in foundations.)

In his time, as I see
-people had freedom
-in faiths, Jews, Christians.
-Patriarch father had opposed
-son to join church that had found!
-Both of us heard the same:
- "Best faith is our parents'! "
-We listened; suspected…

"No, is not! " we replied!
-that became jumping-board
-of the search and long walks.

Both of us needed to
-travel in disguise…

I have been a farm boy
-villager, town-worker
-finally, a cadet, officer
-and a world traveller
-with varied documents!

Both of us were sold, bought
-for reasons and the thoughts
-of the ones with power…
-Every hush increased the flame!

If given time and chance
-we could have proven
-our value, worthiness
-as he did, dug ditches,
-taught Arabs metal smith…

Salman was "Islam's Son"
-thanks to being deprived!

Same is seen in Prince, Persia's.
Captured, he, was taken as slave.
Once offered to purchase "Freedom, "
Piruz of Nahavand got ready for payment.

But master, an Arab and friend of Umar
-acted deaf, acted dumb, was corrupt!
-Piruz met Caliph as brain of government
-had many witnesses, complained.
-Prince felt injustice in delays,
-which made him grenade; decided:
- "Islam's fish is rotten from head! "
-Killed Umar with dagger…

I sob for both Persians, their details.
