Divided we spoil

We stand totally divided
And has added
New dimension of religion
Over the interest of nation

It is divided into casts and sub casts
The state and its interests last
Over the communal politics
So many parties indulged in anti- state basics

First came remove the poverty
The poor are eliminated already
Then came family planning
It has not set ball rolling

The security of India was compromised
Even Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was confined
In hotel room and not allowed to hoist national flag
Jagmohan, then governor, advised him and he dragged his feet

We have allowed situation to worsen
With soft stand taken
Allowing state to remain isolated
And addressing its merger when demanded

Nation can't tolerate divisive forces
And must stop its funding sources
Such politicians who are out on bail
Must be put behind bars as they have failed to rouse sentiments
