Divorce Poem by alysha renee'

Divorce

I know we need our space,
because were not the same people anymore
We’ve both gone our own separate ways,
yet and still legally binded
I know we can’t be together for
long periods of time
That’s why im giving you this paper to sign…
you go your way, I’ll go mine
Yes, honey I still love you too, I’m just not in love with you
we’re just too different
No longer do we share the same views,
no longer can separate the identity of love from lust
yes I know this will hurt the children,
but long ago this should’ve been done
with all the fussing and fighting,
I’ve got to go
Oh and one more thing honey….
I’m taking the kids
