Divorce Poem by Dwayne Bailey

I'm finding it hard to stay positive,
with the passing of each new day;
Im finding it hard to be kind,
both in deeds and words I say.

Divorce is such a bitter word,
and one that floods my heart;
With resentment, bitterness and anger,
oh when will the healing start?

So for now I look to the future,
and pray that I may live to see;
The day when I can look into the mirror,
and like who's looking back at me.
