Dizzy Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Dizzy

Dizzy

I open the door to cabinet
-dark brown in colour
-she sits there
-thin, flat…
-the abrupt opening of door is a quake
-she falls down
-and is lost
-is dizzy
-vertigo
-runs to left
-runs to right
-then circles
-goes around
-finally to my foot
-to face death
-underneath firm step
-to be killed and crushed

She pictures memories
-of childhood
-parenthood
-observing the mankind
-and also animals

Victim, child and beaten
-hardly run far away
-cry as does Kabab
-on flame of cruel
-crooked the parent or master, invader
-in such, poor seeks Salem

Finally I stepped
-victimised, is killed, dead
- (the cockroach)
-in front of my eyes, in kitchen

And by me…
-feel ashamed…
-like Toby
-in "The year of Flood"
