Do Hear Her Battered Call Poem by Madrason .

Do Hear Her Battered Call

This battered woman
still a girl
she asks for love
and for respect
do not let her
walk up front
while war
but always back her
every minute
of the day.

This battered woman
will give worth
don't you dear force
Mother Earth
for mud will
only peel her
battered skin
and show her
glory
from within.

This battered woman
still a child
ignites still
highest dreams
but let her off
she does not ask
to be viewed
that way.

This battered woman
will offer
from her womb
shadows while hot
showers when dry
another pearl
and roses
everywhere.

This battered woman
has carried you
all those
minutes of her life
so be aware
of all those mothers
in this world
and care.

This battered woman
gave her all
never infallible
yet hear my call
if you come home
after hard work
she worked likewise
give her a surprise
if you return after
a nasty fight
she fought her right
so don't be to uptight
and blame it on
her battered shoulders
just give her a hug
you little thug.

This battered woman
when she rests
there in her tomb
for what it's worth
she has returned
into her womb
this earth you walk
so never ever
dirty talk
on her
she can hear you
everywhere
so listen to her once.

This battered woman
she is a flower
of the wild
yet stays a child
inside
and offers us her all
she makes us
pick the day.

This battered woman
she carries all
that load
she makes us play
thus makes us brave
to pave
a better road
and if it didn't
work out all to well
she loves you anyway
so
put some flowers
on her grave
for all she gave
away.
