Do Horses Like Being Free? Poem by Suzae Chevalier

Horses that gallantly run
horses that have lots of fun.
For in the wild they are free
free to roam and be happy.
Once they are caught, are they the same?
Are they happy to be with an owner and
be in a cage?
If owner raised them from the first day
maybe they are happy and won't run away.
but if they run away to go back to their land
maybe they won't understand
but maybe they do...
for they are not like humans who need
a lot of clues.
