when i sent you flowers
asking for forgiveness

when you forgave me
and then left you

when i wrote you letters
and you wrote back

and i did not answer them all
when i did not tell you anymore where i was

when i come back
and keep myself enclosed in a dark room

do not attempt to understand me
there is nothing with me anymore

i am heartless i am loveless
and i have long lost my life to the past

the present eats me whole
and the future waits no more.
