'' Do Not Be Denied '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' Do Not Be Denied ''

If you want to write,
Get down off your perch,
To discover the light,
Do your research.

Knowledge is king,
If it's accurate and true,
What will it bring?
Well that's up to you.

Falsehoods and lies,
Bring misery to all,
Do cut those ties,
Lest ye may fall.

You can produce fiction,
A magnificent tale,
Without causing friction,
Let happiness prevail.

Never be uncouth,
You'll create a storm,
Tell the truth,
Learn not to deform.

Words that are written,
Can cause joy or despair,
Try not to get bitten,
Make sure you prepare.

Get your reader engrossed?
They'll want to read more,
If a line you've crossed,
They'll consider you a bore.

Those you'll never please?
You can say you've tried,
You hold all the keys,

‘' Do Not Be Denied ‘'
