Do Not Call Me Anymore Poem by Arun Maji

Do Not Call Me Anymore

Rating: 5.0

You already called me
Million times.
Do not call me anymore.

You do not use words;
Yet your call is loud, profound,
Irresistible and overwhelming.
I hear them in my dream
I hear them in my wakefulness.

O flower, o beautiful,
I am so little, so helpless
In waves of your relentless call;
I cannot help
But come to street you live in
And twist in agony
While watching you from distance.

Do not call me.
You already called so many calls
Without even calling me once.
Please, you don't have to call me again.

The call, in sunshine of your smile
Is blow of a horn.
It wakes me up from dream.

The call, in dance of your bosom
Is sound of a thunderbolt.
It pierces and paralyses my heart.

The call, in sway of your hips
Is explosion of an atomic bomb.
It annihilates my existence.

Please, do not call me anymore.
I already live in between
Your heart and soul,
Your eyes and lips,
Your waist and hips.
So, why bother calling me again?

If I am already dissolved within you
Who do you call?
Am I not there in your heart
Dancing with your heartbeat?
