you talk about love
and happiness, you needed love
to be violently in love
you want to sink deep into
its ocean
you want to be lost in
its labyrinths
you want to give your heart
out and
you want to take another
heart for you
that would be killing the
other

i completely disagree

love is freedom
love is retention of my individuality
love is keeping my heart
to myself
and your heart to yourself
love is us meeting
between us still a space
an emptiness

you cannot fill me
as i cannot fill you
you keep your wings
as i keep mine.

do not complete me
i am complete already.
