Sometimes we look back upon our lives
It seems the older that we get
We think about the things we've missed
The things we have not done yet.
We look back on the ones we love
Questions that stick in our minds
So much we never understood
But now it's far behind.
Would we have done things differently
What if we could do it over again?
But we cannot climb into their minds
So I don't think our actions are a sin.
We try to do the best that we can
As we raised each kid to an adult
It is never easy, that's for sure
As teens they want to revolt.
Should we ask them questions now?
Before it is too late?
There are times I'm kind of sorry
I'm nearly at heaven's gate.
Does looking back do any good?
Sometimes I get into a state
Is it possible now to change things?
Before it is too late?

True to life. These questions are props which make us think in a given situation. We must realize that we can't change things beyond a particular stage. But learning is something different. It is a constant process. Thanks. We try to do the best that we can It is never easy, that's for sure As teens they want to revolt.
Thank you so much, Rajinish, for your comment. Much appreciated.
