Do You Hear Me? Poem by Gulliver Gimble

Do You Hear Me?

Rating: 3.5

Do you hear me?
The songs I sing and the heart I bring.
Catching notes in a web of hope.
Passion flowers on silent hours.
Downward rain stains windowpanes.
Cloudy days that go away.
Forgotten dreams stuck inbetween.
Your loving touch needed so much.
Deep thoughts and endless faults.
Echoed screams on windless wings.
Lyrics for songs played all wrong.
Spilling mind and corners to find.
Reaching in to scout for grins.
Scribbled words for a life not heard.
Guitar tuned for ears that loom.
Voicings phrased and rythmes praised.
Doors in the dark sometimes embarked.
Magic nights against neon lights.
Your great inclusion and false intrusion.
I am with you everyday.
Do you hear me?
