Do You Like It Here? Poem by Rachel BaByBeAr Anderson

Do You Like It Here?

Do you like it here?
walking among these fields of gold and silver
breathing in the sweet sun filled air
catching the voices of the warm wind
Can you hear it?
the whispers of tortured thoughts
the dropping of tears hitting the ground
the sadness of lost souls
Can you see it here?
the shadows of people who'd voyaged before you
had come through the grass to clear their minds
and think over problems that ruin their lives
Can you feel it?
the tranquil air blowing into your face
the smell of hops and seeds catching in the wind
the feelings of everyone now gone
Can you sense it?
the old conversations once held
with people now dead
the presence of those they'd spoken to
Do you like it?
here in my field
here in my head
thats what i thought

That here you like it.. Here in your field there here is something.. Which I thought lies with my head.. Sunflowers fields below the sky...iip
