Do You Remember? Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

Do You Remember?

Do you remember those days of spring
When I would rest under the trees
Keeping my head on your lap
And listen to the melody of the cuckoo?

Do you remember that day
When you suffered from fever badly
And called me to stay beside you
And I was with you to make you happy?

Do you remember that day
When we were standing by the sea
To watch the beauty of sun setting
And the waves were washing the shore?

Perhaps you have forgotten
The golden moments of our love
But they are stored in my memory
To gladden my heart every time.

Oh what beautiful images you paint with your poetry... my favourite the lovers with his head on her lap.8 can just jmagine him staring up at her taking in her scent and the way the light hits her face...and her feeling the warmth of his head on her lap caressing his hair :)
