Do You Sometimes Poem by Francis Duggan

Do You Sometimes

Do you sometimes wonder what life's all about
And your worth as a person do you often doubt?
You are not alone in feeling this way
Just one of the millions in the World of today.

Though in public self doubt you do never express
Do you secretly feel down at your lack of success?
You are not alone people like you not rare
In a Human World where many grow poorer for every new millionaire.

At your lack of success do you feel depressed
That you have been a failure though you did try your best?
To become a high achiever you did not succeed
The stories of the unsuccessful are not written to read.

Yet one true fact of life and facts never lie
Is that the haves like the have nots are all born to die
And success is not relevant where dead people lay
Though many may disagree with what I do say.
