(dodgy Dave Tale) 25th Anniverasry Act Iii

Rating: 2.9

So 'Danny' and his wife enjoyed the rest of their trip
Treated like royalty and lordship
As it was coming to and end
Dave was asked to sing again

Guess what song he had to sing
'Danny Boy' with the Irish ring
But this time he had to sing for real
One of the real singers was very ill

It went along well till the 2nd verse
And that's when 'Danny' was cursed
Couldn't remember the words
another embarrassment occured

But this tale ends on a happy note
The band found out that 'Danny' wrote
musical songs they could use in their band
They left with 24 of his songs in hand

I don't know about you
I can't see how 'Danny' grew
to be 6ft 3in in height or upper
When 'Danny' had to sing for his supper

JoAnn, I remember Danny Boy quite well even though it has never been one of my favourite songs. Dodgy Dave
