Doe & Fawn Poem by Ray Lucero

Doe & Fawn

Rating: 4.5

Spotted fawn on gangly legs
Born in the night, on forest floor
With silent bleat for milk he begs
Rite enacted untold times before

(To all the deer that live around our home)
