Does Not Make For Good Sense - Poem by Francis Duggan

Jobs created for the emissions of more carbon into the natural environment does not make for good sense
On this there ought to be a case for a defense
Mine owners who make millions out of mining are not Mother Earth's friend
That they are legalized environmental criminals why otherwise pretend
What we do to our Earth Mother to our own selves we do
This is how i feel on this whatever about you
For our environmental sins future generations will pay
And of us they will not have any nice things to say
Human created pollution leads to Global Warming which hurries on Climate Change
Worldwide the weather of late has been acting so strange
Due to climate change and destruction by humans of their natural habitat many creatures extinction face
So called development in the name of progress has turned out to be a human disgrace
What we do to our Earth Mother to our own selves we do
This is how it seems to me whatever about you.
