Doesn'T That Say Everything Poem by Lauren Grant

Doesn'T That Say Everything

Rating: 5.0

I lay there night after night,
Wishing I could put things right.
I look into your eyes,
And I can see your heart cries.

I want to make thing better,
I know you would beg to differ.
I want to take the pain away,
But can never figure out what to say.

I hate it when we fight,
I know I can be very uptight.
I do try so hard to understand,
Would it help if I offered you my hand?

All I want is to be there for you,
I just wish I knew how-to.
I want to hold you tight,
Tell you everything is going to be alright.

Please remember when you cry,
I’m always going to be near-by.
I know you find your anger hard to control,
Just look deep inside your soul.

I am your girl and you my man,
Let’s get through this lets do it hand in hand.
I love you more then anything,
Doesn’t that say everything?
