Dogma Poem by Pradip Chattopadhyay

Dogma

We turn blind in faith
war for religion

stick stiff
to own belief

give gods name
invoke them

and our dogma goes so far
as to turn us

executioner.

Quite true! Faith unfortunately depends largely on dogmas and rituals and a religion without love turns chaotic, blind and intolerant and people turn executioners! Very relevant thoughts in our time and well composed!

Rather than relying on reason and evidence, faith relies on revelation and dogmas........nicely composed
