Doll On A Shelf Poem by Lore Me34

Doll On A Shelf

She puts her in a pretty dress
and silk bows in her hair
She plays with her for a little while
then ignores her like she's not even there.
She treats her child like a doll on a shelf.
Only giving her attention when it suites herself.
All the rest of the time alone the child is left;
to sit and look pretty like a doll on a shelf.
