Madness exists in its own reality. At times perplexed and lonesome, but in this day and age many seem to be willing to follow in the footsteps of the mad. Wise words above!

WOW! ! This is truly a modern take on the venerable knight-errant. I read a German-language play THE NEW ADVENTURES OF D.Q., which parallels your poem perfectly - yes, madness, i.e. righteous anger is what we need not passive sadness. In the play the Horse and the Mule are the philosophers with wisdom and compassion! ! The human characters are still mistaking their illusions for reality. At the end, angels arrive and they tell the dying Don (killed by an American missile) : WE ARE ANGELS SENT TO TAKE YOU TO HEAVEN. The Don says: NO, LEAVE ME HERE AND BRING HEAVEN TO EARTH. Amen to that.

Did he said he say that? But you summed it up for us in a poem? Yes, well, we've talked about this before. You have to be a little bit mad to be a poet, and to survive in this crazy world, But, take heart, sanity is coming!
