Don't Be So Rigid Poem by Bireswar Halder

Don't Be So Rigid

Your superb touch makes my heart chilled
As in scorching days, a shower makes the earth pleasant
Like a skylark, I long for your arrival eagerly
Ultimately you came in a milk-white saree, my dear.

From core of my heart, I love you, my dear
Every time you promise to meet me but fail
Why do you become so cruel, I fail to understand.
Tonight don't be so rigid leaving me alone and cold.

Look at the garden, because of your absence
Various buds forget to blossom seeking your warm touch
They feel unhappy and stare at your arrival
Tonight I will spend golden moments with you.

The birds are silent because they miss you
They forget to sing dulcet melodies
Tonight we sing with these beautiful birds
But don't be so rigid leaving me alone and cold.

In a full moon night, you are really very beautiful
Like a fairy and we will fly to a new dreamland
My heart starts throbbing to tell my untold stories
Please don't be rigid to leave me alone and cold
