Don'T Cover Your Eyes Poem by Francie Lynch

Don'T Cover Your Eyes

Rating: 4.5

Thanks
For the party
You threw
For me;
Another decade
Was easy.
I wear
An outfit
You like
To see,
And accept
Your accolades
Graciously.

In the spotlight
It's easy to shine;
Don't cover
Your eyes,
Some's
A disguise.
I'm not saying
It's all lies,
Just don't
Cover your eyes.

All you've done
Means much
To me,
But pales
When you
Have tea
With me.
