'Don'T Curse The Darkness' Poem by Linda Winchell

'Don'T Curse The Darkness'

Don’t have to curse the darkness,
There’s nothing to fear in all its black,
Stand strong and true, in what you believe,
For there stands God, to walk you back.

Back into the light to a brand new day,
To the glory of a new and bright majesty of grace,
With only His eyes to see you through your darkness,
He wills, all darkness not for you alone to face.

Although, in the darkness you might trip and fall,
On the things you can not feel or see,
God’s eyes are there to see you through,
His light is shining, in the darkness for you and me.
