Don'T Grow Cold Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Don'T Grow Cold

I took a long walk in the spiritual world
and so much unspoken was told
I found out I'm aging but I'm not so old
I found that pure hearts shine like gold
I found that most can be bought and sold
But that the truth of things does unfold
Some things are better left untold
Warmth is more precious than cold
love remains, howver thinly it it rolled
Better to nurture than to scold
God is all around: Behold!
Have faith and miracles do sometimes take hold
His wonders have been extolled
but God's love can never be over sold
The things you wish to...can't be controlled
Jealousy and hatred, multiply like black mold
Truth can't be cajoled
Forgiveness can only take a hold
when anger and hatred are parolled
only then can love unfold
and joy again enfold
as bells of happiness are tolled
Don't be afraid to break out of the mold
Because when it's all said and told
and every trail you can take has been patrolled
and you're still unconsoled
God is love and love is bold
Ask him in and let his love take hold
lest your broken heart grow forever cold
