Don'T Impress Me Poem by Kimberly Hope

Don'T Impress Me

You don’t have to impress me cause you already have me.
You don’t have to show me love cause I already know that you would do anything for me.
You don’t have to spoil me either cause I’m already in love with you,
and I’m not going anywhere.
You don’t have to kiss me cause I already trust you.
We don’t have to have sex or sext cause I already know your faithful,
and that you are mine and only mine.
You do not have to hug or comfort me because of my fears or problems,
I must learn to handle them on my own.
You do not have to defend me either,
because I can stand on my own two feet.
I ask that you do not criticize me either,
because I already know everything that is wrong with me.

So; instead,
impress me because you want to be a better person,
show me love because you are passionate,
spoil me because you're in love with me,
kiss just because you are so romantic,
have sex with me because you want a family together,
hug me because you miss me,
and compliment me because it is all true.
