Don'T Leave Poem by Axiom Wheeler

Don'T Leave

Rating: 3.0

VERSE 1
You're the inspiration.
The one that makes me go on.
What would I do without you?
Would I have the strength if you were gone.

CHORUS:
Don't leave me, and I'll try to hold on.
Don't leave me, and I'll still be your man,
Because the day you go,
That's the day you curse my plan.

VERSE 2
I'm not perfect.
There may be times when I fall.
When have I ever failed you?
Don't put this love high on a stall.

CHORUS AGAIN

VERSE 3
You were the inspiration.
The one that made me go on.
What can I do without you?
Will I have the strength now that you're gone?
I was crying:

CHORUS 2:
'Don't leave me, and I'll try to hold on.
Don't leave me, and I'll still be your man.'
Because the day that you were gone,
That's the day you crushed my plan.
