Don'T Let Me Fall Poem by CHIGOZIE DANGOL

Don'T Let Me Fall

Hold me close to your heart; let me feel your pulse
Don’t let me fall
Else the grounds mock me.
This is my plea

So many failed pasts and the lies hurt
Will I ever get there, wish I could tell
The past hurts and the scars are still fresh
Please don’t let me fall.

The youths have struggled and toiled
The old shriveled and bent,
Their faint hope seem so distant
Questions that seek answers

Don’t let me fall!
