Don’t Live For The Posterity. Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

Don’t Live For The Posterity.

William Shakespeare did not think
That his works would be handed
Over to generations, world over,
The English becoming
The world language.
He is not there to know it.
Then what is the use for him?

If you are not known
When you are alive knowing
There is no use of being known.
Don’t waste yourself for the posterity.
