I swallowed down my food
Along with z anger it fueled
I swallowed my pain
With every bite I take
I ate and ate till there was no space
But none was left to clean my mess.
No booth I drank clouded my brain
I still looked at me in disdain.
No drug I took made me sleep
Life was no coin with two sides to flip.
No song seemed to know my lines,
Harmony was never close to my stories.
No poem healed my desperate soul,
Words left me bare with more holes.
No tear sufficed my sorrow,
My path was trodden too much to follow.
None can save me from me,
None can saw my seed.
No man can heal my heart,
Love was for those with beating pulse,
And its no good when it hurts.
