Don'T Sympathise Poem by Somanathan Iyer

Don'T Sympathise

I am not a saint
To renounce the life
I have my desires
That seldom to realize

I am like any one
With lot of hopes
Unlike every one
I dream t them wrong

Sympathy from others
I seldom expect
Deprived chances
I want them back

Life is short
All know well
Luck is selective
Life only tells

One must try hard. Fortune favors those who try.
