Don'T Try To Convince Andrew Bolt Poem by Francis Duggan

Don'T Try To Convince Andrew Bolt

Don't try to convince Andrew Bolt he has made up his mind
As an ally of new clean forms of energy him you will not find
The conservative columnist for The Melbourne Herald Sun
At the experts on climate does like to poke fun,
He is trying to convince us that the burning of coal
On our natural environment is not taking toll
He feels that on climate change more than the experts he does know
Such arrogance that only arrogant people can show
Don't try to convince Andrew Bolt for old ideas he does fight
He is one of those people who is convinced he is right
And to convince his readers to his way of thinking his best he does try
But when the sea is rolling up his Suburb for help he too will cry
So don't try to convince Andrew Bolt on things such as climate change
On those who see differently to them his type look on as strange.
