Me: Hey Time, why don't you stop?
Pend yourself, I am sad.
DROP! ! !
Time: What was that?
Me: The Tears, falling one or two
She is sad too, just like me
Left her love, know one knew.
They were this secret couple
The Eyes and his dearest Tears
Never seen together - while you're happy
Always seen at your fears.
Time: So they had a break up!
But why? How was that?
Me: Well, Grief visited my mind
So, Tears bid Eyes goodbye
Said, 'Grief is my ideal partner
So, I'll have to be with him
But would you believe me if I say
I'll miss you from dawn to dim? '
Time: Oh! Oh! Poor poor Eyes
What did he say to 'his Tears' in return?
Me: Well, Eyes are just meant to see
And he had nothing in his hand
He was the saddest of 'em all
And crying was also banned.
Time: Why?
Me: Crying would make him lose
Lose more of his dear dear Tears -
The one he had loved so far
The one who took all his fears.
So, it was me who decided
That I will never again be sad
For my Eyes - so deeply in love
How could I dare be so bad?
A poem of love written in a different way. A conversation with time. Time and Tears - both mute yet they speak so much. We revolve around time and tears revolve around us. Time can heal. And so can tears..Nice poem Pritha
