Don'T You Dare Read This Poem. You Will Not Like It. - Poem by Jonny Brackney

the person who breathes
the one that breathes smoke
instead of air
the person who talks
the one that speaks lies
instead of truth
the person who sees
the one that sees darkness
instead of light
the person who grows
the one that grows weak
instead of strong
the person who dwells
the one that dwells on past mistakes
instead of learning from them
the person who cries
the one that cries when you're alone
instead of being happy by yourself
the person who dies
the one that rots and fades away
instead of living on through your good deeds
the person who hates
the one that gives hatred
before giving love

the disgusting

the selfish

the mad

the wicked

the lost

the forgotten

the person who hides
the one that runs
instead of facing yourself

the person who eats
at me
the one that points
and laughs
at me

well i don't mind you

because, you see

are just like
