Done And Dusted* Poem by Ian Bowen

Done And Dusted*

On once golden fields,
the harvest is now done and dusted.
Giant ricks, sit as high as houses
and tower above neat, sunless roads
that lead to early autumn.
Soon the slap of wet leaves
will litter the avenues
and fur will become...

the 'dress of the day'.
