The happiness you seek is here
to connect with at any time.
The happiness you seek
is your birthright.

Just be more gentle, more kind,
more compassionate and caring.

For the happiness, you seek
cannot be found by walking all alone.
but to heal that hopeless hole in your heart
you need to learn how to love yourself
and your world around you.

Just be more sweet and generous,
and open the door of your heart.

For the happiness, you seek
cannot be found through grasping,
trying to hold on to things.
Nor through getting serious
about wanting things
to go the way you think
will bring you happiness.

Come on! Don't hold
of the wrong end of the stick!

The happiness you seek is already here
and you will find it
through relaxation
and letting go.
Not through struggle—
but by making peace
with whatever arises in life--
happy or sad.

Just connect with joy!
