People that you and I don't even know
Into us hate for each other they want to sow,
With other's they want us to swear and fight
Which will bring them great delight.
They want us to take their side
And stand beside and with them with honor and pride,
Sadly they forgot all the Bible verses
As they toss out lies, rumors, grudges and curses.
These people don't even know your or my name
They don't even know from where we came,
And just because you believed in their testimony
You now literally hate me.
Once in a war it was father again son
And they killed with a sword and also a gun,
Then it was once mother against daughter
There was a slaughter.
For my family and friends I would always stand up for
Never against them would there be a war,
Them I will never belittle or harass or assault
Because, of someone else's lies and hate and fault.
I wonder at the end of your day
Before you sleep and unto God you do pray,
Do you then remember what you had did and also said
And now you wish you had said or did nothing instead.
Before you black your own brothers eye
Because of a rumor or a lie,
And before a stranger you want to shed your brothers blood
Remember, who truly cared and loved.
They want us to hate each other
Even our very own sister and/ or brother,
Remember, do not walk down that path with sin
Do not let them win.
