Doubt Poem by Natasha Andeyi

Doubt

Rating: 5.0

You said you loved me but that I once hurt you,
Maybe that is why I paid the price with twice the hurt.
You only let me in when it served you right,
Giving me a piece off your heart you knew you could do without.
Holding it dearly with everything I had, thinking that if I'd lose it then there's no forever us.
Little did I know the game was rigged before it began!
And I was the fool for beginning it wise.

You were never honest with what I did in the past,
Beating around the bush with those words you kept stuttering from your mouth.
Constantly reminding me that I was the bud guy, and I fed your lies by choosing to be nice.
Accepting things I never did in the first place because it was the only way you could remain in my space.
But you know what they say, every good thing has an end.
And yes, even the bad ones need an eternal break.
The fire you started is done burning every piece of emotion that should have come out alive,
And I'm no longer your puppet to play with the remaining ashes. The wind was kind enough to blow them out.
I am always enough, never again will I be in doubt.

U have trust the person U love and give Your whole ❤️ & don't let the past pain defined your future because how can they trust U with their whole heart if U don't trust them with yours. It took 2day 2 finally realized that myself
