Doubt Has No Shadow Poem by Cheng Zheng

Doubt Has No Shadow

Just some random jumbled thoughts I wrote down at a time of depression

*******************

Cold as the fire burns
Life to dust I turn
Round the roses learn
Find just as I might die
Another beautiful lie
That I might yet fly
Hold onto dreams unbound
And dilated truths unfound
Never to burn to the ground
Yet all that I have failed to be
Calls me here to see
What is really me
I hope that life will run its course
Without hope and without remorse
To swallow me in the river with force
Untie this empty heart of mine
Even though I say I'm fine
I don't know what line
I'm even on
Tried to con
A glorious song
But still I don't belong
Nothing's really wrong
But nothing feels right
I won't go without a fight
Cannot see the light
Nor any shape of darkness
All becomes naught
And naught becomes all
And I become one
With all that becomes zero
Scream my name
For I
Don't remember it
