Doubts And Distrust Poem by Oyekake Satty (O S) Joshua

Doubts And Distrust

Rating: 4.5

If I know truly that
Every aspect of my life
Rests in His sovereignty
That all contingencies in
My Life’s circumstances
Filter through His Omniscience
That all my fears and doubts
Even my toils and dares,
And that the hurts I hate
Lay in His Omnipresence
That decisions of mighty men
Imposed upon me daily
An obstacle to frustrate me
And to cause such heartache
Lay before His Omnipotence
That when man’s work is set
And his arrogance announced
That it’s still the Lord’s Hand
That must write the final line,
Would my doubts then wilt?
Would my fears now seize?
Would I still live my life
In quiet desperation or
In a daily celebration?
