Down By The Sea Poem by norman hale

Just over the bank
By the edge of the sea
Two lovers are holding hands
Oh what a sight to see

The dolphins are flippin
In a lovers song and verse
Almost as if it where magical
As their flipping they rehearse

The waters at their feet
Their hearts are beating like the waves
They know they'll always feel like this
Even when they're beyond their graves

Their hearts have been connected
Since they shared that very first kiss
Now they can't never get enough
For true love was always their wish

Laying there on that sandy beach
Holding each other oh so tight
Just kissing and caressing
Right on through the night

Yes just bonding on together
As their souls become as one
Knowing they'll love each other
Well after life on earth is done
