Down memory lane
I am almost scribbling an epitaph,
Looking back on the void past
Enshrouded in the mist of time,
An ocean of tears.
Life, a mystical riddle
An unknown mystery awaits in
the future,
Almost between the claws of death, (I can almost feel it)
An echo of a dirge,
Ringing back through countless ages
The song of suffering and tears
Without hope approaching for the
doomed and snared,
Sounding and echoing in the
senseless future,
Ringing the mystical funeral bell,
Doom on the horizon approaching,
I am a born scribe,
Waiting to immortalize human fate
and misery,
Chase the wind and collect all
memories,
To tell it to unborn generations
That they too may be riddled too;
Why are we on this filthy land called earth.
