Dream Big Instead Of Small Otherwise Why Have A Dream At All

Rating: 5.0

Listen, always continue to dream big instead of small,
Otherwise, what is the sense of having a dream at all?
I would rather dream very big and get just a little bit,
Than to dream small getting every tiny-wee piece of it.

Who dreams of being a security guard instead of a cop?
Do you practice to be stuck on the bottom & not the top?
What kid really desires to be a star in the minor leagues?
Are there any doctors who do not want to cure disease?

Which actor or actress never wanted to be a movie star?
Would we watch Tiger Woods if he always finished par?
Does anyone study for hours on end to take a test & fail?
As a young child who dreams to grow up and live in jail?

Are you a top-notch chef if your specialty is ham & cheese?
Do you raise kids to be homeless, “can I have money please?
Has any nation looked forward to being slaves and not free?
Ever hear this one? “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”

I scratch & scratch & scratch but still can’t reach the itch,
Why women smile greeting each other, “what’s up bitch? ”
Or girls who are smitten, guess you have to be one to know,
Are proud when guys introduce them saying, “this is my ho.”

Okay, of course I am not speaking of all women and every girl,
It is becoming an accepted practice in many parts of the world,
Maybe we should put borders around our sought after dreams,
First and foremost they must have a Christian oriented theme.

The biggest hindrances to those who are constantly left behind?
Is a close association with people having small desires in mind,
Book of Luke 6: 38, “I have given and it is given back unto me, ”
But, what if you are giving others fear, unbelief, doubt & worry?

A dream is not a dream if it will not cause you to grow,
Neither is it a dream from where you are thinking below,
It is definitely not a dream if you are unwilling to share,
As God might turn your dream into a vicious nightmare.

Except for Moses, God comes in our visions and dreams,
Surely not the God of sexual innuendo although it seems,
Many do believe He is by giving thanks in His Holy name,
Accepting awards from sinful-filled ventures, that’s insane.

It’s obvious everyone’s desired dreams are not the same,
Some must play as others are content watching the game,
But, whichever one it is, if you have to do it, do it in style,
Never let the victor’s growl be replaced by a loser’s smile.
