Listening to her mourning...
' Oh my daughter
long have I waited
for this day
soon to join your beloved...'
'It seems but
a moment ago
that you left home...'
'I reminded you
Don’t be late...'
' Wearing your red dress
so beautiful and young,
going to meet her love.'
'But now your lover...
the soil of a grave
newly dug...'
I cry...
great my sorrow...
I shred my shirt...
I beat my chest...
I throw earth upon my head...
Suddenly
the phone rings
ending this nightmare.
Covered with sweat
I thanked God,
to hear your sweet voice...
' I have a new red dress
come Shauq! ...
if you want to see...'
