I had a dream, a beautiful one too
I was sitting at a shore next to you
The sun tired of his days work was begining to retire
Birds rehearsed their songs like a choir
The waves danced sensously to the beats of the breeze
Unperturbed by the old trees wheeze
Your hands felt strong as they reached out for mine
As we stared at the magical, golden infinity line.
My mind ran to the day we first met
How we got here I hadn't figured out yet
Words seemed insufficient to explain our story
Our hearts bashfully basked in the glory
I recollected the times entwined with turmoil
and our will was all that life couldn't foil
You turned around and your smile extended to me
And contentment was all that there seemed to be
But then I opened my eyes and saw the empty space
The fleeting moments with you again I began to chase.
